@basuke(That said, I copied over a couple of command-line utilities I use all the time, and Rosetta 2 did what it needed to do to allow them to run just fine, even though they were compiled for Intel processors.) sixcolors.com/post/2020/11/m…
Is there a sleep/awake issue with Big Sur or is it actually my hardware? The screen is up and the cursor is responding but login gets stuck after I enter my PIN. I'm fed up with this mini... pic.twitter.com/vSgMPKY3WG
There used to be some novelty hearing Apple execs and managers appearing on some podcasts, but I do not enjoy them as much anymore, since it's more towards marketing messages these days
Apple seems to have addressed (and acknowledged) that the OCSP requests can identify developer certificate ID in a non-encrypted transport, and their servers can be SPOF when it's not down but very slow to respond like it was on Friday support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491pic.twitter.com/A0U4fm1y28
Actually more reliable solution: to use the MacBook Pro for post production. It doesn't have all the plugins but I can bounce it later pic.twitter.com/bccT9MLHkA
so far I've been managing to avoid Mac mini crash by using Safari instead of Chrome. I don't believe it's a software issue, but maybe it has something to do with the high cpu/memory usage of the programs there. Hopefully i can survive today editing podcasts with Logic Pro.
@gsdev90Right Bridge OS is for the T2 but after upgrading to Big Sur that crash has been gone, instead having more kernel panics which seem to be around RAM issues to me
